The VirusStriker Central Management Solution (CMS) revolutionizes the way
we protect our networks and systems by providing small and large businesses
with an advanced management solution. This solution gives IT personal with
the ability to monitor, manage, and operate up to 5,000 systems f
rom a
central location.
Multi-level management systems can be easily implemented by setting up
several sub-CMS servers. Different installation templates can be defined
for groups or even for single machines with preset operation time intervals
for all the settings. VirusStriker CMS servers never try to communicate
with inactive machines, thus reducing overall network load and improving
efficiency.
New machines found in the network can be automatically added to the
default CMS server for management. Also, a default installation template
can be chosen, so VirusStriker will automatically protect new machines
(with the settings defined in the template).
At given intervals, CMS servers confront the specified update source
(FTP, CD, URL) with the installed and running versions on the network and
prepare and update the managed machines if need be.
Using the CMS Management console, allows us to perform many useful tasks
that help us monitor the state of networks like checking to see if
VirusStriker software is installed and running correctly, checking and
updating software versions, checking and modifying the settings used by
installed software and performing many more useful task.
